Sometimes what looks like a small repair can turn out to be a much bigger project. That was the case for this client, who noticed a small area of damaged siding. Upon closer inspection, we discovered extensive dry rot, bug infestation, and weathered damage.

To fix it right, I removed the damaged siding, sheathing, and insulation, then rebuilt that section of the wall from the ground up. New cedar siding was installed to match the existing exterior, followed by a coat of primer paint. The client is planning to have the whole house painted next, and they were thrilled with the results.
